Darren Teo, Founder
Darren Teo is the founder of Play! Tennis, one of the most successful tennis academies in Singapore with over 10,000 members. His passion for making tennis accessible to everyone regardless of their age, experience and ability continues to drive his work at the academy.
In addition to teaching the technical aspects of tennis, Darren is also a mental training coach. He is the author of “The Philosophical Tennis Player: Thinking Your Way To Winning”. In it, he examines how timeless philosophical concepts can help players develop the mental skills necessary for optimal performance on the court.

Clare Lim, Head Coach
Clare has over a decade of experience in the tennis industry and has been with Play! Tennis since 2015. She graduated from Edith Cowan University with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science and participated in several local tournaments and leagues between 2017 and 2019. She loves to work with children and adults of all levels, as well as promote tennis as a healthy lifestyle.
She has been the Head Coach at Eighth Floor Tennis in Bedok since 2021 and continues to demonstrate tennis excellence through her warm personality and high level of care for each of her students and strongly believes in being passionate about her work.
Joseph Gollifer, Senior Coach
Joseph started playing tennis at the age of 8 and competed in various regional tournaments in the United Kingdom throughout his competitive teenage years. He started his tennis coaching career at the age of 16 where he assisted senior performance coaches at Culford School, before returning to Singapore for his National Service. He resumed his passion for sports coaching with Play! Tennis in 2020 and is now eager to make a greater impact in the sports community through spreading his passion of tennis and pickleball.
